Traffic Violation
Last night I got pulled over for not having my lights on. Here’s the thing though. I was pulled over right next to Hollywood and Highland…one of the most well lit places in Los Angeles! We are talking street lamps, lit up signs, and beaming florescent store fronts. I have the receipt for the parking garage, proving I only traveled a whopping 0.2 miles before getting pulled over. I got the time…think I should fight it?
i got a ticket at La Brea and Santa Monica for the same thing. they got my pulling out of the parking deck. i researched it because i wanted to fight it. Here are the links to the Lamp laws.

I ended up just paying the fine, $201. FYI: I got my ticket on 7/24 and it was due on 9/24. i wasn’t able to find out how much my ticket was until 9/27 when it was finally entered into the system. They say it takes at least 6 weeks. pretty shitty system.
Anomaly
While driving by on a highway in central Ohio minding my own business, I passed this odd building. Imagine one’s surprise as you drive by this anamoly. Its a basket…No its a building….Its a basket building. And it was right next to a highway. Imagine how many accidents happened on that stretch of highway in front of the building…
Later I learned that the company named Longaberger, makers of, surprise surprise, baskets, have the HQ in that basket…errr…building.(via addicted Eyes)
I want to work in the basket.
